2 Tickets to ParadiseThis track was recorded on Jon-Ross' birthday (June 15) in 2009. It's a version of Eddie Money's "2 Tickets to Paradise" that features Jon-Ross on lead vocals, 2-part guitar harmony in the beginning section, and Dominic and Jon-Ross on consecutive lead guitar solos. It was a good night and the crowd was with us right from the start, especially the guy who couldn't stop himself from singing along near the end.

Who Do You Love? This performance is also from Jon-Ross' birthday in 2009. It's Groove DeVille's version of the blues classic "Who Do You Love?" made famous by Bo Diddley and later by George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers. Chris sets the stage with the famous "Bo Diddley" drumbeat and Drew's surefooted bass sets the table for Dominic's and Jon-Ross' bad-boy-showing-off guitar solos. It was, as indicated before, a really good night and we're glad we have some recordings from it.

That TrainThis recording was made in 2009 at a studio in Eagle Point, Oregon by Keith and Tim of Western Sound. We recorded 8 songs for an upcoming CD release and this is a rough mix of one of those recordings. Jon-Ross wrote this song way back in 1996 and recorded it several times on his own over the years, but nothing he did comes even close to the quality of performance on you have before you now. Chris and Drew lay down a rhythm section arrangement which is blistering hot, and Dominic's chikcen-pickin' guitar and Jon-Ross' slide guitar work and honky-tonk piano playing make this train song a real ear-candy treat.

PantyhoseDominic wrote this song some years ago; it's a catchy and clever tune about a poor dude whose wife finds an unwelcome surprise in the back seat of his car. Keith and Tim of Western Sound helped us record this rough mix in the winter of 2009. It features Dominic on wah-wah guitar lead and Jon-Ross on delayed organ. We had a lot of fun recording it; Dom's lead vocal sounds great and the backing harmony parts are all sung by Jon-Ross.
These recordings are all copyright 2011 by Groove DeVille. "That Train" is copyright 1996 by Jon-Ross Habina, and "Pantyhose" is copyright 1994 by Dominic Lazaritas. These tracks are NOT the final album tracks; these are rough mixes. The final mastered recordings will be available on the CD and on iTunes.
We're going to be releasing our CD soon. It will be available on iTunes, here on the Groove DeVille website, and at our gigs. W e won't charge an arm and a leg for it, but we would like to mkae some profit for the money we spent making it. Keep watching this website for more details as they become available.
